Recently I came across paintings produced by Russian artists going back hundreds of years. Now I'm a big
fan of the Russian masters, I think their work was absolutely fantastic. One artist in particular, a man by the name of Ivan Shishkin 1832 - 1897 painted forest scenes, I found his work so appealing that I used his works as a base for paintings, they are not copies, but similar. With apologies to Ivan Shishkin here are the paintings, changed to suit my style.
No 609 - Forest Muddy Road 520 x 660mm - Acrylic on Canvas stretcher
No 610 - Pond 520 x 660mm - Acrylic on Canvas stretcher
No 611 - Misty Morning 520 x 660mm - Acrylic on Canvas stretcher
